Extended appointment time, after-hours service, travel outside the standard area, printing, witnesses, facility requirements, and additional services may affect the final quote.

Confirm witnesses

Ask the document preparer how many disinterested witnesses are required and whether the client or notary will arrange them.

Verify all signers

Each signer must have acceptable identification, be willing to sign, and demonstrate awareness of the document.

Keep documents complete

Bring every page and instruction from the drafting attorney. Do not sign before the appointment unless directed.
